These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at www.govaiedu.com(the “Site”) and the services, content, training programs, workshops, and digital resources provided by GovAI Education Group, a DBA of Color Me Happy Studio LLC (“GovAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Site or purchasing any service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who We Are and What We Do

GovAI Education Group provides AI literacy and safety training for government agencies, public-sector teams, and small businesses serving the public sector. Our offerings include:

Live virtual and in-person training sessions
Open-enrollment workshops
Speaking engagements and custom consultations
Downloadable resources (some free, some paid)
Educational articles and blog content

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or purchase services. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account & Communications

Some interactions (resource downloads, bookings, workshop registrations) require providing your name and email. You agree to keep your contact information current and to receive transactional communications related to services you've requested or purchased. Marketing emails are optional and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Payments & Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing a card, you authorize the charge for the amount displayed at checkout.
Training bookings are billed by invoice with net terms (typically Net 7) unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Workshop seats are purchased at the time of registration.
Paid resources are purchased at the time of download request.
You are responsible for any sales or use tax applicable in your jurisdiction. Tax may be added at checkout where required.

5. Refund Policy

Refund terms depend on what you purchased.

Workshops (open-enrollment)

Workshop seats are non-refundable but transferable to any future session within ninety (90) days of the original session date. To request a transfer, reply to your confirmation email or contact us at govaiedu@gmail.com.

Paid digital resources

Digital downloads are generally non-refundable once the download link has been delivered. If the file is corrupt, undeliverable, or materially different from what was advertised, contact us within fourteen (14) days for a refund or replacement.

Private training engagements (custom bookings)

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the scheduled date receive a full refund or one rescheduling at no charge. Cancellations made fewer than 10 business days before the session may forfeit up to 50% of the agreed fee to cover preparation and reserved time. If GovAI cancels for any reason, you receive a full refund.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first before initiating a chargeback. We resolve issues quickly when contacted directly. Chargebacks raised without first attempting to reach us may be disputed.

6. Workshop Specifics

Virtual workshops are delivered via Google Meet. A calendar invite with the Meet link is emailed to registered participants.
Recordings, if any, are shared at GovAI's discretion. You may not record, redistribute, or publish any portion of a live session without prior written consent.
Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or abusive, without refund.
Workshop materials are licensed for the registered participant's personal use only and may not be re-shared, resold, or used to train a competing offering.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including workshop materials, slides, written articles, checklists, templates, the GovAI Education Group name, logos, and brand elements — is owned by or licensed to GovAI and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law.

You may use materials we provide for your internal organizational purposes only (e.g., applying a checklist within your agency). You may NOT:

Resell, redistribute, or republish our materials.
Use our materials to train a competing AI safety or training offering.
Remove copyright notices or branding.
Use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Limited screenshots or short quotes for review, criticism, or commentary purposes (with attribution and a link back to govaiedu.com) are welcome.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any law.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our admin tools, or our infrastructure.
Interfere with the operation of the Site (e.g., scraping, denial-of-service attempts).
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Use the Site to harass, threaten, or harm others.

9. Disclaimers

GovAI provides educational content. We are not your lawyer, your IT department, or your compliance officer.Our materials and trainings are informational and should not be interpreted as legal, financial, cybersecurity, or compliance advice. You are responsible for applying what you learn appropriately within your own organization's policies and applicable laws.

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GovAI Education Group, its parent company, and their officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid GovAI in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GovAI Education Group, Color Me Happy Studio LLC, and their officers, employees, and contractors from any claim or demand made by a third party arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your obligations under sections 7, 9, 10, and 11 survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to active customers when possible. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at govaiedu@gmail.com. We'll make a good-faith effort to resolve it within 30 days.
