About GovAI Education Group
Practical AI Training for the People Who Serve the Public
We exist because government employees deserve AI training that actually fits their work — plain language, real protection, and skills they can use today.

Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm LaTonya.
I started GovAI Education Group because I saw the same thing happening everywhere: government employees using AI tools without any real guidance — not because they were careless, but because no one had ever taught them where the line was.
I've spent years working at the intersection of government operations and technology. I understand the unique pressures public-sector teams face — public records laws, tight budgets, procurement constraints, and the responsibility of serving real people with their real data.
Most AI training is built for tech companies. I built GovAI for HR directors, city clerks, finance teams, and department supervisors — people who need practical skills and clear guardrails, not a computer science course.
My goal is simple: every government employee who takes our training should walk away knowing exactly what to do, what not to do, and why it matters.
Our Mission
AI should make government work better — not create new risks.
We believe every public servant deserves access to practical, honest AI education. Not hype. Not fear. Just clear guidance on how to use these tools to save time, serve the public better, and protect the data people have trusted you with.
How We Work
Our Approach
Plain Language First
We never teach in tech jargon. Every concept is explained the way your team actually talks — so it sticks, gets used, and doesn't create confusion.
Safety Is Non-Negotiable
Every session is built around data protection habits from the start — not as an afterthought. Your team learns what to do and what to never do.
Practical Over Theoretical
We teach skills your team can use this week — drafting, summarizing, reviewing — using real examples from their actual jobs, not generic demos.
Built for Government
Local government teams face unique constraints: public records laws, procurement rules, tight budgets. We know that world and build training for it.
Our Story
Built Over Time. Built for Impact.
Began a deep dive into AI — spending hours studying tools, understanding how they work, and becoming an AI Generalist. Started training small groups in person and online, helping people get practical, hands-on experience with the tools that were already changing how we work.
City of Lilburn Merit Award — recognized for implementing AI technology to reduce operational costs and enhance productivity across city operations.
Founded Color Me Happy Studio LLC — specializing in AI-assisted graphic design and video creation, alongside the education arm of the business.
Shifted focus into government application — studying AI risk, data protection, and the unique ways AI intersects with public-sector work. This deep dive into government AI became the foundation for GovAI Education Group's full curriculum.
